#challenge yourself for UK-GSR - for the love of dogs take on a sponsored challenge
Get yourself muddy, work up a sweat, trek the coastline or get wet, whatever you decide to do, do it for UK–German Shepherd Rescue, because with your support, we can help more dogs.
Maybe you want to run, cycle, swim or trek in a marathon type event? From full marathons to 10k’s or even your local fun run, whether you’re a serious athlete or you do it dressed in fancy dress – you can make every mile count for our dogs.
Perhaps you want to go paddle boarding, abseil or do a parachute jump?
Maybe you would like to undertake an individual or group physical challenge that does not require any specialist equipment or skills, like back garden marathons, press-up relays, or stair ascents or use personal exercise equipment to complete symbolic distances in your own home.
Are you brave enough to brave the shave and get your head shaved?
Do you want to undertake a slimming challenge and get sponsored to help lose those pounds? Or hold a sponsored dog walk to raise funds, whilst you and your pooch enjoy the great outdoors?
Yoga-a-thon - how long can you Yoga? Or Cake -a-thon - how many cakes can you bake non-stop in 24 hours? Don’t forget to sell off the cakes afterwards to raise more funds!!
OR do you want to do your own thing ? - "I want to do my own thing, does that still count?" Absolutely!

What we do to help…
We’ve created a great fundraising guide to help you boost your fundraising efforts.
We set up your own dedicated donation page on our website, rather than you do it via JustGiving, Facebook or Virgin etc. ALL these take a % of the funds raised. If your event donation page is set up directly with us then the dogs will get all of the money raised.
We can provide a Rescue T-shirt, for you to wear during the event.
And we also have good old fashioned paper Sponsor forms.

Running, walking, hopping, eating, bake bean baths, pancake flipping, whatever it might be, why not do it for the rescue? We've had sponsored runs, walks, bungee jumps, assault courses and a head shave in the past. What can you do??
